Comcast, Executive Retreat 2008
Every four years, Comcast gathers its senior executives from each one of its networks for a massive four-day retreat. Part of this meeting features a video showcasing each of their properties. Rather than simply cut together clips of their television shows, they asked G&M to do something a bit different. With heavy competition from AT&T and Verizon, we wanted to demonstrate Comcast’s passion for programming while taking a playful jab at the telcoms. So we created a Comcast P.R. guy who gives a group of Verizon spies a peek into the world of Comcast content. Only he doesn’t give them the real story. It’s a humorous guided tour of exactly the opposite of how to create great television.
