Ad Agency G&M Plumbing Launches Curbside Service for the CMO On-The-Go.

MANHATTAN BEACH—In an effort to offer unparalleled convenience to its clients, ad agency G&M Plumbing launched curbside service.

The agency, which works extensively in the foodservice category, got the idea from the restaurant industry. “A lot of casual dining chains are offering curbside service as a way to fit into families’ busy schedules,” said agency partner Randy Lopez. “So we figured we could offer the same convenient service to busy marketing executives that don’t have time to come into the agency and sit through a presentation,” he added.

The way the new service works is, clients can either phone in their marketing brief or come into the office and brief the agency in person. Then the client is given a time when their ideas will be ready. When the client drives up to the ad agency’s headquarters, a G&M representative will deliver the ideas right to the client’s car. The agency went on to say that if the client’s ideas aren’t ready when they arrive, they’ll get 20% off the next campaign.

“In addition to our award-winning creative and our strong strategic capabilities, curbside service gives us a unique position among other agencies,” noted Co-Creative Director Glenn Miller. “A lot of agencies promise things like fast turnaround but nobody is actually delivering ideas right to the client’s car without them ever having to step out,” he added.

G&M says this new service is in response to their own study, which found an increasing number of clients who said they just don’t have time to go into an agency and sit down to get their ideas. “A lot of clients said that due to their hectic schedules, to save time they’ll either create their own ideas or skip ideas altogether,” said Co-Creative Director Mickey Taylor. “This solves that problem,” he added.
